Policies

Many people have been asking my opinion on a range of issues, or asked me to sign pledges. Here I outline my position on issues that have come up.

I stand for a Clean Break from the European Union as soon as possible, in fulfillment of our national democratic decision in 2016, to Leave the EU.  More details here: https://fordham4freedom.org/brexit

The principal local issue which I commit to oppose is the Sunnica solar farm.

I will press for increased support for schools in the County, which have  a long history of under-funding. The Tories’ recently announced 5% increase per-pupil remains far from enough.

An Independent MP is not constrained to follow any “Party line”. I have committed as an Independent to institute regular Policy Forums within this constituency, for constituents to develop their priorities, which I could then take to Parliament. 

I have already offered one such Policy Forum on the subject of WOMEN’S AND GIRLS’ RIGHTS.
